Electrical Protection Engineer

Qualifications:

• Aware and experienced in all testing equipment related to the relay testing and breaker testing.
• Obtain certifications from relay manufacturers.
• Perform retrofitting of old relay.
• Testing protection relays, review setting, implement new setting, perform maintenance activities and verify the performance of the relay.
• Download and verify the replay operations.

Responsibilities:

• Testing and commissioning of substation, reply to protection systems (relays).
• Testing and commissioning of substation DC systems (battery charger, battery back and UPS if possible.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical switchgear.
• Testing and commissioning of substation.
• Supervise the maintenance of protection equipment of an electric power distribution system to reduce interruption to service.
• Coordinate with the repair, test and installation of equipment
