Quay Crane Operator

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Container Terminal Operations preferred
• Knowledge on container terminal operations flow

Job Description:

• Responsible to operate a Quay Crane for safe discharging & loading of containers/ cargo with safe operating procedures, port benchmark performance standards & company targets.
• Follow SOP’s carefully in start up and shut down of crane.
• Transfer containers as per sequenced Discharge/Load plan.
• Take over the crane from previous operator after ground level checks, and report if found any abnormalities, in accordance with safe operating procedures.
• Unload and load containers from Vessel to ITV and vice versa
• Handover the RMQC to next shift operator
• Ensure adherence to safety norms
• Intervention & reporting of all Unsafe acts/ conditions/Near Misses
