MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Experience in plastic PET production Maintenance technician (HUSKY MACHINE)
- Good knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills.
- Experience in hydraulics machine and fixing troubleshooting of Industrial Automation Equipment.
- Familiar with the working principles & safety specifications of the air compressor system supporting the bottle blowing machine & be able to maintain it independently.
- Experience in working principles & blowing process of PET rotary blowing machines & linear machines
Job Description:
- Identification of machine problems to minimize equipment downtime with root cause analysis conducted to prevent re-occurrence.
- Use of available software systems to analyze & identify issues to drive throughout performance.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance & emergency mechanical, using knowledge of electrical-mechanical devices, circuitry, electronics, motors, wiring diagrams, schematics & blueprints.
- Performing hydraulic, pneumatic, high voltage electrical & mechanical repairs on injection molding equipment.
- Define requirements & lead efforts to fix equipment to status during downtime.
- Plastic processing at high speeds while maintaining tight part tolerances & acceptable level of acetaldehyde.
- Adhere & enforce highest standards in safety & good manufacturing practices plant-wide.
- Train & lead operators, Mechanics & Supervisor on technical procedures related to high-speed bottle manufacturing & packaging.
- Responsible for setting up one or more machines, observes their operation & ensures the manufactured products meet specifications.
- Startup and shutdown of equipment before /after designated shutdown periods.
- Regular & predictable attendance, as well as required on-call availability, are essential functions of the job to ensure equipment & facility up-time
- Requisitions parts needed for completion of preventive maintenance responsibilities.
