Landscaping/Grounds Keeping

Qualifications:

• This job requires male and female applicants
• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and their care requirements.
• Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment.
• Ability to pay attention to small details for maintaining landscape aesthetics.
• Capability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Capability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Regular upkeep of outdoor spaces including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and pruning.
• Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and maintaining their health through watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Assisting in landscape design projects, including layout planning and selection of plants.
• Leaf raking, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Properly operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Cleaning and maintaining walkways, paths, and other hardscape features.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed while using equipment and handling chemicals.
