Financial Controller

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Accounting or Management Accounting
• Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant or other post-degree certifications
• Minimum of 7 years working experience, preferably on the same field
• Work experience in retail environment in similar capacity is a plus
• Commercially astute and well-versed with accounting principles and standards
• Knowledge of MYOB and Attaché preferred
• Role will be responsible for inventory management and procurement domestically and from overseas
• Excellent data and cost analysis and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to calculate product costings
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Effective management skills and ability to train national staff
• Ability to develop and maintain partnership with departmental and company employees and leaders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and CEO.
