TIG / MIG WELDER

Qualifications:

  • 5 years MINIMUM Experience Working in the occupation mentioned above/position is a must requirement.
  • With exceptional communication skills
  • Minimum Educational Requirement is 1 year Tertiary Level (completed)
  • Could provide High School (Form 137), TOR & English medium of instruction certificate from both school levels – secondary & tertiary
  • TESDA/High School graduates are welcome if they could show English test results (IELTS/PTE Academic)
  • MUST HAVE READY PASSPORT
  • MUST HAVE DRIVER’S LICENSE

Responsibilities:

  • JOINING METAL- Using heat, pressure, or both to fuse metal parts together to create a permanent bond.
  • READING BLUE PRINTS – Interpreting blueprints, sketches and specifications to determine the dimensions of parts to be welded.
  • INSPECTING MATERIALS – Examining structures and materials to be welded before beginning the process.
  • OPERATING EQUIPMENT – Using welding torches and other equipment to apply heat to metal pieces.
  • MONITORING THE PROCESS – Adjusting heat as needed and monitoring the stages of the welding process.
  • ASSESSING QUALITY – Identifying flaws and assessing the quality of the welds.
