POEA’s Pre-employment Orientation Seminar Online (PEOS) Now Mandatory
Soon-to-be OFWs now have to undergo a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) online as a pre-qualification requirement by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
New applicants should take the PEOS Online prior to submission of his application to a licensed recruitment agency. Likewise, the recruitment agency should submit for POEA processing only documents of workers who have completed the online PEOS.
You can take the POEA Pre-employment Orientation Seminar Online for free. If you have completed the modules provided in the online seminar, POEA will issue you a PEOS Certificate which you can use as an additional certificate when applying a job and you can include it in your pre-employment processing with POEA.
PEOS Online have eight modules. Each module including the assessment test takes an average of seven minutes to complete.
Steps in taking the PEOS online:
- Users can simply sign up and log on to www.peos.poea.gov.ph with their details to access the learning modules on the website. Existing members of JobStreet.com may also use their account to access the PEOS Online.
- Once logged in, users can navigate through and complete all eight modules.
- Review learnings by taking the Modular Assessment Test before proceeding to the next module. This ensures that each module is completed and understood well by the site visitor.
- After completing all the modules (including the tests), users will receive an email notification of their test results, plus a Certificate of Completion which can be printed and submitted to POEA directly.
This online seminar takes around 42 minutes to complete. It has 8 modules and each module takes around 7 minutes to complete. Each module contains a short video in Tagalog and a slide presentation discussing information involving jobs abroad application, expectations, processing fees, avoiding illegal recruitment, culture of different countries overseas and many more useful and important advice’s about applying and working abroad. Each module also has questions you need to answer as a review of the topic discussed. You need to get at least 3 correct answers to proceed to the next module / topic.
In short, this is a very helpful and informative seminar to guide an interested OFW or OFW wannabe before working abroad. The orientation is different from that of PDOS. The PDOS is provided for official OFWs only.

Magandang araw po sa inyo..mali po yung country na napindot ko sa module po at may peos certificate na po ako ..pwedi po ba akong kumuha ulit ng peos sa totoong country na talaga …? Yung country kasi na napindot ko sa module is amerika and canada,dapat pala is para asia pacific pala.sana po magreply kayo sa akin .salamat po

Hello po! Nagkamali po ako ng pag encode ng name ko sa eRegistration kaya po nang kumuha na po ako ng PEOS certificate mali din po yong pangalan doon. So humingi po ako ng tulong sa POEA para po ma edit nila mismo ang name ko sa eRegistration kaya po okay na ngayon kaso po ang PEOS certificate ko ay kailangan din ma edit. Ano po ba ang dapat gawin dito? Pwede po bang mag take sa module ulet para makakuha ng bagong PEOS certificate na may tamang pangalan ko na po? Sana po ay makakuha ako ng sagot galing sa inyo. Salamat.

Good Day po, tanong ko lang po, hindi po kasi ako makapasok sa site ng POEs.para sa Poes certificate.lage nlng po go back kung my account and provide the correct details. ilang beses na po akong nag update. tama nman po yung E-registration number na nilagay ko.Ganun padin po.
