Ople ng Department of Migrant Workers, ang operasyon ng Jed World Technical and Manpower Services Inc. (Jed Manpower) sa Nueva Ecija matapos makumpirma sa serye ng surveillance ang ilegal na pagrerecruit nito ng mga hotel, resort at agricultural worker patungong Europa.

Inimbestigahan ng Anti-Illegal Recruitment Branch ng POEA (POEA-AIRB) ang Jed Manpower dahil sa natanggap nitong reklamo laban sa mga may-ari nito at dahil sa report tungkol sa mga aplikanteng nagtungo sa Direct Hire Assistance Division ng POEA para magproseso ng dokumento papuntang Norway.

Napatunayan ng mga operatiba ng POEA-AIRB na nag-aalok ng trabaho ang Jed Manpower para sa mga hotel at resort worker patungong Norway at Denmark, maging para sa mga agricultural worker papuntang Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden at Germany. Ipinapasa ng mga aplikante sa Jed Manpower ang kanilang resume at maging ang halagang umaabot sa Php 210,000.00 para mai-proseso ang kanilang mga dokumento. Catalanacan, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

Bunsod nito, mapapabilang ang Jed Manpower at mga tauhan nito sa “List of Persons and Establishments with Derogatory Record” kung saan hindi na sila maaaring makasama sa mga programa ng gobyerno para sa overseas recruitment bukod pa sa kinakaharap nilang kasong illegal recruitment.
