We are seeking an experienced and responsible Trailer Truck Driver to operate heavy vehicles for transportation operations in Slovenia. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and timely delivery of goods, conducting vehicle inspections, performing basic maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company safety standards.

Trailer Truck Driver

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Truck Driver.
  • No minimum educational attainment required.
  • Must possess a valid CE Category Driving License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience; international driving experience is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of road safety regulations and truck operation procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to comply with company rules, transportation regulations, and workplace policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate trailer trucks safely and efficiently for local and international transportation assignments.
  • Perform pre-departure inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Conduct routine service checks including tire pressure, oil levels, fluid levels, and other basic vehicle inspections.
  • Perform minor repairs and report mechanical issues to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Secure and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation and prevent damage during transit.
  • Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate driving records, trip reports, and required transportation documentation.
  • Comply with trucking laws, road safety regulations, mandatory rest periods, weight restrictions, and load requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicle.
  • Report accidents, delays, vehicle issues, or safety concerns immediately to management.
