Tendering Procurement and Sales Specialist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in tendering, procurement, sales, business development, or contract administration.
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for government or private-sector tenders.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract documentation.
- Experience negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and tender or procurement management systems.
- Experience with government tenders is a significant advantage.
- Experience in the safety, industrial, fire protection, oil & gas, or construction sectors is preferred.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify new tender opportunities from government agencies, ministries, public organizations, and private sector clients.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, contractual requirements, and commercial terms to determine bid feasibility.
- Prepare tender compliance matrices, technical proposals, commercial proposals, and other bid documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations, technical datasheets, certifications, product samples, and supporting documentation.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers to achieve competitive bids.
- Prepare, compile, and submit complete tender documents within specified deadlines while ensuring compliance with tender requirements.
- Follow up on tender clarifications, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract award notifications.
- Maintain accurate records of tender submissions, bid status, contract awards, and procurement activities.
- Follow up on customer quotations and proposals to maximize conversion into purchase orders and long-term business opportunities.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, project requirements, and supplier commitments following order confirmation.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate qualified sales leads, and expand the company’s customer base.
- Conduct product presentations, customer meetings, and technical discussions to promote company products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers, suppliers, and prospective clients.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales, tender, and business development activity reports.
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely and satisfactory project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable tender regulations.
Perform other procurement, tendering, and sales-related duties assigned by management.
