TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields.
- Experience in technical support, facility monitoring, building automation, or computerized facility management systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automated mechanical and electrical facility systems, particularly HVAC, lighting, and life safety systems.
- Ability to monitor real-time software dashboards and interpret equipment status, alarms, temperatures, and energy-use data.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify system faults, analyze possible root causes, and coordinate appropriate technical response.
- Good communication and coordination skills when working with technicians, engineers, and facility management personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple systems and alerts simultaneously.
- Computer literate and comfortable working with monitoring software and digital technical systems.
- Able to maintain accurate technical records, incident reports, and system logs.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately to system alarms and operational issues.
- Willing to work in a facility operations environment and follow established procedures.
- Responsible, organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor automated mechanical and electrical equipment through centralized software platforms and control systems.
- Monitor HVAC, lighting, life safety systems, and other facility automation equipment.
- Watch real-time dashboards to track temperatures, energy consumption, equipment status, alarms, and system performance.
- Monitor operating conditions and identify unusual readings, equipment behavior, or system abnormalities.
- Respond promptly to system alarms, faults, warnings, and other technical notifications.
- Analyze system alerts and perform initial troubleshooting to determine possible causes of faults.
- Diagnose technical issues using available software dashboards, monitoring systems, system logs, and operating data.
- Escalate identified faults to field technicians, engineers, supervisors, or other responsible personnel.
- Provide technicians and engineers with accurate information regarding system alarms, equipment status, and observed conditions.
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure reported faults are properly investigated and resolved.
- Monitor the status of corrective and maintenance activities following reported system faults.
- Maintain records of alarms, faults, incidents, troubleshooting activities, and system responses.
- Track equipment performance and identify recurring faults or abnormal operating patterns.
- Assist in monitoring energy usage and identifying unusual consumption or operational conditions.
- Support facility teams in maintaining reliable and efficient operation of automated systems.
- Verify system status after corrective maintenance or technical intervention.
- Report unresolved or critical system issues to the appropriate supervisor or engineering team.
- Assist in maintaining accurate technical documentation and operational records.
- Follow established procedures for system monitoring, incident reporting, escalation, and technical support.
- Coordinate effectively with facility management, maintenance, engineering, and technical teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of facility monitoring information and technical data.
- Follow company policies, workplace safety requirements, and facility operational procedures.
- Perform other technical support and facility monitoring duties assigned by management.
