KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Document Assistant (Document Controller) to support document management operations in oil and gas, fertilizer, or petrochemical plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, controlling, and maintaining technical documentation while ensuring accuracy, proper revision tracking, and compliance with company procedures.
TECHNICAL DOCUMENT ASSISTANT (DOCUMENT CONTROLLER)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience as a Document Controller, Technical Document Assistant, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Others or a related field.
- Must have experience working in an Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, or Petrochemical plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures, revision management, and technical filing systems.
- Experience using SharePoint or similar document management platforms is preferred.
- Proficient in proofreading, formatting, and preparing technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain systematic filing systems for technical documents, records, and project files.
- Upload, organize, and control documents using platforms such as SharePoint and other document management systems.
- Track document revisions, approvals, and distribution to ensure the latest versions are available.
- Archive outdated or superseded documents securely according to company procedures.
- Review, proofread, and format technical documents, reports, and drafts using standard office software.
- Ensure documents comply with company formatting standards, templates, and quality requirements.
- Maintain document registers, logs, and tracking reports for project and operational records.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and administrative teams regarding document submissions and updates.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and retrieval of confidential technical information.
- Support audits and document reviews by providing accurate and organized records.
