Staff Nurse
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Staff Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Must hold a valid Professional License / Passed Board or Professional License Examination.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices, patient assessment, and clinical care.
- Ability to provide nursing care to patients with acute and chronic physical or mental health conditions.
- Knowledge of medication administration, treatment procedures, infection control, and patient safety.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and recognize changes requiring immediate attention.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, responsible, and committed to providing quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, patients, and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care to patients in hospital and other healthcare settings.
- Assess patients’ physical and mental health conditions and identify changes requiring nursing intervention.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, treatment responses, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and medical interventions.
- Modify patient nursing care and treatment plans as indicated by the patient’s condition and response to treatment.
- Provide nursing care for patients suffering from acute or chronic physical or mental health conditions.
- Monitor patients for complications, adverse reactions, deterioration, or other changes in health status.
- Promptly report significant changes in patient conditions to physicians or the appropriate healthcare team.
- Provide appropriate patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, health conditions, and self-care.
- Assist patients and families in understanding treatment requirements and follow-up care.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, infection prevention, and other appropriate nursing interventions.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, nursing notes, treatment documentation, and clinical reports.
- Follow established infection prevention, patient safety, medication administration, and clinical procedures.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of nursing equipment and medical supplies.
- Assist in the selection or provision of appropriate assistive medical devices and related treatments according to patient needs and professional protocols.
- Coordinate patient care with doctors, nurses, therapists, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and provide emotional support when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with professional nursing ethics and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in emergency response and provide appropriate nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by the hospital or nursing supervisor.
