Twin Island Private Limited is seeking experienced Sous Chefs specializing in Western Cuisine for deployment to the Maldives. The successful candidates will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality Western dishes.
Sous Chef (Western Cuisine)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of working experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary position.
- Strong experience in Western cuisine is required.
- Experience working in a hotel environment is an advantage.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in supervising and leading kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of Western cuisine dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during food preparation and service.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Coordinate food production activities to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Train, guide, and supervise junior kitchen staff and culinary team members.
- Monitor food inventory, stock levels, and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen area.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control initiatives.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements when necessary.
- Support the Head Chef in achieving operational goals and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Requirements:

- High School Diploma if High School Graduate
- Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
- Employment certificates (previous to present)
- Trainings attended
- Exit visa and Iqama id (Ex Saudi)
- Passport copy (1 year valid)
