Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking skilled Scaffolders to perform the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will ensure that scaffolding structures are installed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices to provide safe access and working platforms for construction personnel.

SCAFFOLDER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Scaffolder in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in various site conditions.
• Familiarity with scaffold inspection requirements and scaffold tagging systems is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in a construction environment.
• Experience in EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant, or heavy industrial construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install scaffold components, including standards, ledgers, transoms, braces, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, and access ladders.
• Ensure scaffolding is properly secured, leveled, braced, and anchored to provide safe and stable working platforms.
• Install scaffold tags and assist with scaffold inspections before scaffolds are released for use.
• Modify, relocate, and dismantle scaffolding as directed while following approved work procedures.
• Inspect scaffold materials before use and report damaged or defective components to the supervisor.
• Follow scaffold erection drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and project safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping in scaffold work areas and ensure materials are stored safely.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to support project activities.
• Perform other scaffolding-related duties assigned by management.
