Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced Roofing Workers / Roofers to join construction projects across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems while ensuring compliance with Australian construction standards, workplace safety regulations, and quality requirements.

ROOFING WORKER / ROOFER (OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Roofing Worker or Roofer.
• Must have completed at least 1 year in college or a 1-year vocational course.
• Strong knowledge of roofing installation, maintenance, waterproofing, and repair techniques.
• Experience working with metal, tile, shingle, and flat roofing systems.
• Ability to read and follow project specifications and construction drawings.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain metal, tile, shingle, and flat roofing systems.
• Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials according to project plans and specifications.
• Apply waterproofing membranes, sealants, insulation, and other protective materials to ensure roof durability and weather resistance.
• Remove damaged or old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for new installations.
• Perform roof maintenance, leak detection, and repair work to extend the lifespan of roofing systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed roofing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Work at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and team members to complete roofing projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in roofing installation and repair methods.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and weatherproofing techniques.
• Proficiency in using roofing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures and fall protection requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
