Roller Compactor Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Roller Compactor Operator.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, roadworks, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Skilled in soil and asphalt compaction operations using heavy compactor equipment.
• Knowledgeable in equipment safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), operator certifications, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site and environmental conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate roller compactor equipment safely and efficiently for soil, asphalt, gravel, and surface compaction activities.
• Perform compaction works for roads, pipelines, construction sites, and infrastructure projects according to project specifications.
• Ensure proper surface density, leveling, and compaction quality during operations.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine checks to verify equipment safety and operational readiness.
• Monitor equipment performance and report defects, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Follow worksite safety procedures, traffic management rules, and company operational standards.
• Operate equipment safely on uneven terrain, slopes, and varying site conditions.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel to achieve accurate compaction results.
• Maintain operational logs, inspection records, and fuel usage reports as required.
• Keep the equipment and work area clean and organized at all times.
