Turra Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly competent Rigger/Scaffolder Lead to supervise and execute scaffolding and rigging operations in accordance with company safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable scaffolding assemblies, lead a diverse team, and support general plant maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Rigger/Scaffolder Lead.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certified and holding Current High-Risk Licenses in:
- Rigging (RB/RI)
- Scaffold (SB/SI/SA)
- Working at Heights
- Dogging (DG)
- Confined Space Entry
- Proven experience in equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding operations, rigging techniques, inventory, and asset control.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, administrative coordination, and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and high-pressure environments.
- Physically fit, well-presented, and capable of performing manual and technical tasks.
- Initiative, problem-solving skills, and dedication to delivering results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead scaffolding and rigging operations safely and efficiently in compliance with AS-NZS standards, PNG regulations, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Participate in EMPNG training programs to maintain an accident-free workplace, including EPTWS, JSA, LMRA, O&I, and company procedures.
- Monitor general maintenance activities to ensure the safety and security of all worksite personnel.
- Prepare sites and loads for scaffolding operations, ensuring proper alignment and stability of assemblies.
- Inspect, maintain, and manage scaffolding and rigging equipment, including operational testing.
- Maintain accurate records for scaffolding and rigging operations, inventory, and asset control.
- Ensure housekeeping, waste management, and facility maintenance standards are upheld.
- Promote and maintain the company’s safety culture and behaviors in alignment with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) 5-1, 5-2, and 6-1 guidelines.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior scaffolders and riggers, including local Papua New Guinean team members.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and external parties regarding work execution and safety.
- Support general plant maintenance activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
