Restaurant Supervisor

Qualifications:

• At least two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or casual dining establishment.
• First-time applicants for overseas employment are welcome.
• Must be at least college level.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience supervising restaurant staff and coordinating daily food service operations.
• Knowledge of customer service standards, food quality, and restaurant operating procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and resolve service concerns.
• Good leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory monitoring, stock control, and minimizing food waste.
• Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, responsible, service-oriented, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and smooth workflow.
• Coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including service crew, cashiers, kitchen personnel, and other assigned team members.
• Assign duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure employees follow established procedures.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints and resolve service issues appropriately.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and serving procedures to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor food inventory, supplies, packaging materials, and other restaurant necessities.
• Assist with stock monitoring, receiving deliveries, and checking the quality and quantity of supplies.
• Help minimize food waste and control operating costs through proper inventory handling and portion control.
• Monitor sales transactions, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) procedures when required.
• Assist in preparing staff schedules and coordinating shift assignments.
• Train and guide new employees on restaurant procedures, customer service, food handling, and workplace policies.
• Ensure dining areas, service counters, kitchen areas, and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
• Monitor order accuracy and ensure food is served within expected preparation and service times.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage customer orders and maintain efficient service during peak hours.
• Check that restaurant equipment and facilities are in good working condition and report maintenance issues.
• Prepare or assist with daily sales summaries, inventory records, shift reports, and other operational documentation.
• Support promotional activities and help maintain a welcoming restaurant environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and applicable Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Perform other supervisory and restaurant operations duties assigned by management.
