RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER

Qualifications:

  • Open to applicants with or without experience.
  • Applicants with hands-on experience using cleaning equipment are preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to learn proper cleaning and housekeeping procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment is an advantage.
  • Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures carefully.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can communicate in English.
  • Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Physically capable of performing cleaning and residential support duties.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness, order, and proper organization of residential areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning of bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and other assigned spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces as required.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and properly.
  • Assist with the collection, handling, and proper disposal of household or residential waste.
  • Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, appliances, and other residential areas.
  • Replenish basic household and cleaning supplies when required.
  • Follow proper cleaning, hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with organizing residential areas and keeping common spaces neat and presentable.
  • Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Follow instructions and daily work schedules provided by supervisors or management.
  • Handle cleaning materials and equipment responsibly.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable residential environment through proper housekeeping practices.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding work requirements, concerns, or special instructions.
  • Assist with other general residential support and housekeeping duties as assigned.
