Production Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferably 5–7 years of experience as a Production Engineer in a chemical or industrial plant.
• Experience in process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of chemical plant operations, particularly the Solvay process for producing soda ash and calcium chloride.
• Hands-on experience with production processes, equipment, and control systems in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and improving production efficiency.
• Certification or training in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve soda ash and calcium chloride production processes using the Solvay process.
• Implement strategies to optimize raw material consumption, reduce waste, and increase overall production efficiency.
• Monitor production operations and collect data on key performance indicators, including production rates, equipment efficiency, and raw material consumption.
• Analyze production data and recommend operational adjustments to improve plant performance.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues affecting production.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations teams to address equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and production bottlenecks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and optimize plant operations.
• Monitor the performance of production equipment and control systems in the chemical manufacturing environment.
