PRIVATE NURSE
Qualifications:
- Female applicants are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
- Must hold a valid professional nursing license / professional license examination qualification.
- Experience in private nursing, home care, hospital, long-term care, or similar healthcare settings is an advantage.
- Strong patient assessment and clinical nursing skills.
- Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and vital-sign monitoring.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, responsible, and professional approach to care.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to determine their ongoing physical, mental, and emotional healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient requirements.
- Administer prescribed medications through appropriate routes, including oral, intravenous, injection, or inhalation, within the scope of professional practice.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature.
- Observe patients for changes in their health condition and report significant findings promptly.
- Perform nursing procedures and treatments such as wound cleaning, dressing changes, catheter care, and ostomy care.
- Provide appropriate support for patients with chronic or complex health conditions.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide support according to their individual care plans.
- Educate patients and family caregivers on medication management, treatment plans, chronic condition management, and appropriate home-care practices.
- Provide emotional support and maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful care environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and nursing documentation.
- Safeguard confidential patient and medical information.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and professional nursing standards.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies within the scope of professional practice.
- Communicate effectively with family members and members of the healthcare team.
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by management or the supervising healthcare team.
