VIZALTO is seeking experienced and qualified Plumbers to join its construction and building services team in Croatia. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems in construction projects while ensuring that all work meets required technical, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction and plumbing.
  • Proven experience working as a plumber in construction or building projects.
  • Relevant trade certificate or plumbing qualification is required.
  • Good knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand plumbing plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Skilled in working with different types of pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing materials.
  • Good understanding of construction site procedures and occupational safety requirements.
  • Good English communication skills are required.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work effectively with supervisors and other trades.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual plumbing and construction work.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, and replace plumbing systems and components in construction projects.
  • Install water supply, drainage, waste, and sanitary piping systems.
  • Read and interpret plumbing plans, technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install pipes according to project requirements.
  • Install and connect pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, pumps, and other plumbing components.
  • Install toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, water heaters, and other sanitary fixtures.
  • Perform rough-in and final plumbing installations in residential, commercial, and construction projects.
  • Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, pressure problems, and other defects.
  • Conduct testing of newly installed plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and water-tightness.
  • Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogged pipes, damaged fittings, and faulty plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Assist in the installation of underground and above-ground piping systems.
  • Use plumbing hand tools, power tools, pipe-cutting equipment, and other relevant equipment safely.
  • Coordinate plumbing work with electricians, HVAC technicians, construction workers, and other trades.
  • Follow project drawings, specifications, measurements, and instructions from supervisors and engineers.
  • Ensure proper slope, alignment, support, and installation of drainage and piping systems.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow construction site safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Handle plumbing materials, tools, and equipment responsibly to prevent damage and unnecessary waste.
  • Identify and report plumbing defects, material shortages, safety hazards, and project issues to supervisors.
  • Complete plumbing work within required project schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform other plumbing and construction-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
