Electrical Technician

Qualifications:

• Graduate of 2 years Vocational Course in Electrical Technology or similar fields.
• Preferably with TESDA NC2 Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
• At least 3 years working experience preferably in operations and maintenance of power plant companies, high rise buildings or Air Base Facilities.
• May need to possess a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Tools, equipment and materials used in the electrical trade; installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, apparatus and instruments; American and British standards pertaining to electrical installation and maintenance
• Familiarity in safe work practices related to the building trades and electrical work

Responsibilities:

• Installation, repair and troubleshooting of motor controls, relaying, instrumentation, wiring devices and lighting gears;
• Replacing, repairing, and installation of conduit, junction boxes, switches, fuses and fuse panels, circuit breakers, and other electrical control devices;
• Repairing and installation of light fixtures; troubleshooting and repairing faulty circuits and equipment; repairing of electric motors
• Adhering to ACGC / Client Tool Control Procedures, as and when required.
• Assisting in the execution of the training program among Saudi Trainees, whenever required;
• Working with limited supervision;
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Performance of other tasks as may be required.
