Electrical Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials used in the electrical trade; installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, apparatus and instruments; American and British standards pertaining to electrical installation and maintenance
• Knowledge in safe work practices related to the building trades and electrical work, operations and maintenance of power plant companies, high rise buildings or Air Base Facilities.
• May need to possess a valid driver’s license.
• Adhering to ACGC/Client tool control procedures as when required.
• Assisting the execution of the training program among Saudi Trainees, whenever required.
• Working with limited supervision.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Performance of other task as may be required

Responsibilities:

• Installation, repair & troubleshooting of motor controls, relaying, instrumentation, wiring devices & lighting gears. Replacing, repairing & installation of conduit, junction boxes, switches, fuses & fuse panels, circuit breakers.
• Repairing and installation of electrical control devices, light fixtures; troubleshooting and repairing faulty circuits and equipment, repairing of electric motors.
• Operating and maintaining power generators & distribution system & converters.
• Interpreting schematic and one-line diagrams and hands-on test different kinds of electrical measuring instruments.
• Works on and examining electrical problems, identifying source of the problems & determining method for repair
• Planning & organizing works; reading interpreting & working from electrical plans & diagrams, making estimates of time needed & materials.
• Care & maintenance of all specialized tools & equipment’s allocated either as long term loan or personal issue
