PANEL BEATER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Panel Beater
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair methods and tools
• Proficiency in welding, metal fabrication, and body alignment techniques
• Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Body Repair (preferred)
• Good English communication skills for team coordination and safety compliance
• Physically fit and able to handle manual, precision work
• Valid passport and readiness to process Australian work visa requirements (police clearance, employment and school records, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body damage
• Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels using appropriate tools and techniques
• Straighten chassis and frames using hydraulic presses or jigs
• Weld and grind metal sections to restore structural integrity
• Smooth and fill surfaces in preparation for painting
• Refit body hardware, trims, and accessories after repairs
• Operate equipment such as panel beating hammers, dollies, spray booths, and MIG/TIG welders
• Maintain accurate repair records and follow workplace health and safety regulations
