Qassim University Medical City is seeking qualified and experienced Neurophysiology Technicians to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The position is open to female Registered Nurses from the Philippines with hands-on experience in EEG, neurophysiology procedures, and sleep apnea services. The successful candidates will assist in conducting neurophysiological examinations, operating diagnostic equipment, monitoring patients, and maintaining accurate clinical records while following established healthcare and patient-safety standards.

NEUROPHYSIOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Female applicants only.
• Registered Nurse in the Philippines.
• Age: 24–37 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in:
  • EEG and Neurophysiology Procedures
  • Sleep Apnea Unit
• Experience in operating and assisting with EEG and neurophysiological diagnostic procedures.
• Knowledge of patient preparation, monitoring, clinical documentation, and infection control.
• With or without DataFlow and Mumaris eligibility.
• Good English communication skills.
• Computer skills must be Level III-E.
• Good attention to detail and ability to accurately monitor and document patient information.
• Ability to operate clinical and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physically and mentally capable of working in a professional healthcare environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
• Responsible, reliable, compassionate, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with EEG and other neurophysiology procedures according to established clinical protocols.
• Prepare patients for EEG and neurophysiological examinations and explain procedures clearly.
• Obtain relevant patient information and review clinical requests before conducting procedures.
• Prepare and position patients properly for neurophysiological examinations.
• Apply EEG electrodes and other monitoring equipment accurately and safely.
• Operate EEG and neurophysiology diagnostic equipment according to established procedures.
• Monitor patients during examinations and observe for changes or unusual responses.
• Assist with sleep apnea unit procedures and patient monitoring.
• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies and related diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor physiological signals and ensure accurate recording of diagnostic data.
• Check the quality of EEG and neurophysiology recordings and repeat procedures when technically necessary.
• Recognize recording artifacts and technical problems and make appropriate adjustments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, examination results, and procedure documentation.
• Ensure all diagnostic equipment, electrodes, sensors, and accessories are properly cleaned and prepared.
• Follow infection prevention, control, and patient safety procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and comfort throughout procedures.
• Communicate relevant patient observations and technical findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of EEG, sleep monitoring, and related equipment.
• Report equipment faults, technical issues, and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe neurophysiology and sleep laboratory environment.
• Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, occupational safety procedures, and Saudi healthcare regulations.
• Use computer systems and relevant clinical software for patient registration, documentation, data recording, and reporting.
• Coordinate effectively with nurses, physicians, technicians, and other members of the medical team.
• Perform other neurophysiology, patient-care, and clinical support duties assigned by management.
