MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, industrial maintenance, machinery repair, or a related field.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance procedures.
• Practical experience repairing and replacing mechanical components such as bearings, gears, belts, chains, shafts, couplings, seals, and valves.
• Knowledge of machine dismantling, assembly, alignment, and adjustment.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of proper machinery lubrication and maintenance schedules.
• Able to use mechanical hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability and safety.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on mechanical maintenance work.
• Able to work effectively as part of a maintenance and production team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical machinery, production equipment, and related systems.
• Inspect machines and equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, and other mechanical problems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and determine appropriate repair and maintenance methods.
• Repair, replace, and adjust bearings, gears, belts, chains, shafts, couplings, seals, valves, and other mechanical components.
• Dismantle and assemble machinery and mechanical equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform equipment and machine alignment to ensure proper operation and minimize mechanical wear.
• Adjust mechanical components and equipment according to required operating specifications.
• Lubricate machinery and maintain proper lubrication schedules for mechanical equipment.
• Check lubrication systems and ensure appropriate lubricants are used and applied correctly.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Identify the causes of equipment breakdowns and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct testing after repairs to verify that machinery is operating safely and properly.
• Monitor machinery performance and identify potential problems before they result in equipment failure.
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts as necessary.
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Follow technical manuals, equipment specifications, maintenance procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, replaced parts, and equipment condition.
• Report major mechanical problems, recurring faults, and equipment maintenance requirements to supervisors.
• Coordinate with production and other maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
• Follow company safety procedures, proper PPE requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Handle tools, lubricants, mechanical parts, and maintenance materials properly.
• Assist with scheduled shutdown maintenance, equipment overhauls, and major mechanical repair activities.
• Perform other mechanical maintenance duties assigned by management.
