Royale Fashion Ready Made Garments Company & Textiles For Ladies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Master Cutter to join its garment production team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and cutting fabrics according to patterns, measurements, garment designs, and production requirements. The role requires strong knowledge of garment cutting, pattern interpretation, fabric handling, and efficient cutting techniques while minimizing fabric waste.

MASTER CUTTER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Specialization in Garment Cutting, Pattern Making & Apparel Production.
• Relevant experience as a Master Cutter or Garment Cutter is required.
• Strong knowledge of garment cutting, pattern interpretation, fabric laying, and apparel production processes.
• Ability to accurately measure, mark, lay out, and cut different types of fabrics.
• Skilled in minimizing fabric waste while maintaining cutting accuracy and garment quality.
• Ability to read and follow garment patterns, measurements, technical specifications, and production instructions.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics, including grain, stretch, direction, and pattern matching.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain garment cutting tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and consistency.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically capable of standing and performing cutting duties for extended periods.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining high production and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut fabrics accurately according to patterns, measurements, garment designs, and production specifications.
• Review patterns, cutting layouts, measurements, and garment specifications before cutting.
• Prepare and arrange fabrics properly on cutting tables to ensure accurate and efficient cutting.
• Check fabric width, grain, direction, color, pattern, and condition before cutting.
• Lay out fabric layers evenly and accurately according to the required cutting plan.
• Position and secure patterns properly to achieve accurate garment pieces.
• Calculate and plan fabric usage to minimize waste while maintaining required garment quality.
• Mark fabrics accurately for cutting, matching, alignment, notches, and other garment construction requirements.
• Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cut multiple layers of fabric accurately while maintaining consistent measurements and shapes.
• Identify and report fabric defects, irregularities, or shortages before and during the cutting process.
• Ensure all cut pieces are properly labeled, sorted, bundled, and prepared for sewing and assembly.
• Verify cut pieces against patterns and production requirements to prevent errors.
• Make necessary adjustments to cutting layouts based on garment specifications and fabric characteristics.
• Coordinate with pattern makers, fashion designers, tailors, sewing operators, and production supervisors.
• Ensure cut garment components are delivered to the appropriate production section on schedule.
• Maintain cutting tools, machines, equipment, and work areas in clean and good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling cutting machines, scissors, blades, and other equipment.
• Maintain proper organization of patterns, fabrics, cut pieces, and production materials.
• Monitor cutting quality and promptly correct measurement or cutting errors.
• Help improve fabric utilization and cutting efficiency through proper planning and layout techniques.
• Perform other garment cutting and apparel production duties assigned by management.
