MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree in Advertising, Media, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in multimedia production, audio-visual support, or technical equipment operations. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this position.
  • Practical knowledge of audio-visual and multimedia equipment, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, cameras, and display monitors.
  • Familiarity with camera operations, lighting equipment, sound systems, and video presentation tools.
  • Ability to set up, operate, inspect, and maintain multimedia and audio-visual equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for audio, video, lighting, and display systems.
  • Knowledge of video presentations, audio recording, and live-streaming equipment and procedures.
  • Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of providing technical support during meetings, events, and official functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, cameras, and display monitors.
  • Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, ceremonies, events, and official functions.
  • Prepare and operate multimedia equipment to ensure presentations and programs run smoothly.
  • Manage video presentations, live streaming, lighting arrangements, and audio recordings as required.
  • Conduct equipment checks before events to ensure all audio-visual systems are functioning properly.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems involving sound, video, cameras, projectors, lighting, and display equipment.
  • Perform basic repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance of multimedia equipment.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and other staff regarding technical requirements and equipment arrangements.
  • Maintain, organize, inventory, and secure audio-visual equipment, cables, accessories, and other technical supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and care of all multimedia equipment.
  • Monitor audio and video quality during live events and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and reported technical issues when required.
  • Follow established technical procedures and workplace safety standards.
  • Perform other related technical and maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
