MACHINERY MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORKER (HVAC & Food Processing)
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Proven HVAC experience in food processing or industrial plants is required.
- Training or certification in Refrigeration or Electrical is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and basic plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial freezers, refrigeration systems, generators, ovens, proofers, meat grinders, meat slicers, and other food processing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems by inspecting, testing, and operating machinery and reviewing technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Plan and perform repair work using appropriate tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical or electronic testing equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, electronic components, plumbing, pipe systems, machinery, and related equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on motors, drives, belts, fluid systems, filters, and other equipment components.
- Identify faulty parts and perform necessary adjustments, replacements, or repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow workplace safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
