MACHINE OPERATOR (Snacks Processing and Packing)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or related technical qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a reputable snack production company.
  • Proficiency in operating snack processing and packaging machinery.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, packaging operations, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, hygiene practices, GMP, and HACCP principles.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under production targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor various snack processing and packaging machines.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including adjustments, calibration, and machine settings based on production requirements.
  • Ensure machines operate efficiently and smoothly during production.
  • Identify and resolve minor machine issues and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Monitor machine outputs, product quality, and packaging standards.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain product consistency, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Inspect products for defects, contamination, incorrect packaging, or quality issues.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines, production areas, and equipment.
  • Record production data, machine performance, downtime, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and production teams regarding equipment or production concerns.
  • Report machine malfunctions, product issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Carry out other production-related duties assigned by management.
