Al Bayt Town Operation & Maintenance is seeking qualified Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of guests using hotel recreational facilities, including swimming pools, beaches, fitness centers, and other leisure areas. The successful candidates will monitor recreational activities, respond to emergencies, provide first aid and CPR when necessary, and help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

LIFEGUARD

Qualifications:

• Male or Female applicants are welcome.
• Higher Education, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Recreation or Lifeguard certification required by applicable local authorities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies.
• Strong swimming and water-safety abilities.
• Positive attitude and professional manner.
• Dependable and safety-conscious.
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced recreational and hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor swimming pools and recreational facilities to ensure guest safety and compliance with safety regulations.
• Observe guests and recreational activities and respond immediately to emergencies.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary until professional medical assistance arrives.
• Inform guests about recreational facilities, activities, operating procedures, and safety rules.
• Enforce established pool, beach, and recreational facility safety regulations.
• Encourage guest participation in recreational activities and assist with events and group functions.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Check recreational equipment to ensure it is safe and ready for use.
• Process rental equipment and recreational activity transactions when required.
• Report accidents, injuries, hazards, equipment defects, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and other required activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to guests.
• Work closely with other hotel and recreation staff to maintain safe and efficient operations.
