JCB Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a JCB Operator or related heavy equipment operator role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Skilled in operating JCB backhoe loaders and related earthmoving equipment.
• Knowledgeable in equipment safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), operator certifications, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate JCB equipment safely and efficiently for excavation, trenching, backfilling, loading, lifting, and site preparation activities.
• Perform digging and earthmoving operations according to project plans and site requirements.
• Load and transport materials such as soil, sand, gravel, and debris within the worksite.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine equipment checks before daily operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies at all times.
• Operate equipment safely on uneven terrain, confined spaces, and challenging worksite conditions.
• Coordinate with supervisors, signalmen, and ground personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain daily equipment logs, inspection records, and fuel usage reports.
• Keep equipment clean and ensure proper care and maintenance of assigned machinery.
