SPECTAR d.o.o. is seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join its industrial and manufacturing operations in Croatia. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying industrial coatings and paints, and ensuring that finished surfaces meet required quality and appearance standards. Candidates should have practical experience in industrial painting and be familiar with proper painting tools, equipment, materials, and workplace safety procedures.

Industrial Painter

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter is required.
• Practical knowledge of industrial painting, surface preparation, and coating application.
• Familiarity with industrial painting tools and equipment.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and apply paint or protective coatings accurately.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, specifications, and workplace procedures.
• Knowledge of proper handling and storage of paints, solvents, and other coating materials.
• Willingness to follow workplace health and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on industrial painting work.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal and other industrial surfaces before painting or coating.
• Clean, degrease, sand, grind, and remove rust, dust, old coatings, and other contaminants from surfaces.
• Apply industrial paints, primers, protective coatings, and finishing materials according to specifications.
• Operate spray-painting equipment, brushes, rollers, and other appropriate painting tools.
• Mix paints, thinners, primers, and coating materials according to manufacturer or workplace instructions.
• Select appropriate painting methods and materials based on the type of surface and required finish.
• Apply coatings evenly while maintaining proper thickness, coverage, and finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, uneven coverage, bubbles, peeling, or contamination.
• Perform touch-ups, repairs, and additional coating applications when necessary.
• Follow technical specifications, work instructions, and established painting procedures.
• Protect surrounding equipment, components, and work areas from overspray and paint contamination.
• Properly clean and maintain spray guns, brushes, rollers, hoses, and other painting equipment.
• Store paints, solvents, and other chemical materials safely and according to workplace procedures.
• Follow proper handling procedures for paints, solvents, and other potentially hazardous substances.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective clothing, when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Report equipment problems, material shortages, surface defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with other workers and supervisors to ensure painting activities meet production schedules.
• Perform other industrial painting and related duties as assigned.
