HEAVY DRIVER (BUS/COASTER)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience as a Heavy Driver, Bus Driver, or Coaster Driver.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Valid professional driver’s license appropriate for heavy vehicles.
  • Saudi driver’s license holders are preferred.
  • Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
  • Ability to transport passengers safely and professionally.
  • Physically fit and capable of working flexible schedules and extended driving hours.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and follow company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate buses, coasters, and other heavy vehicles to transport passengers, personnel, materials, or equipment to designated locations.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transportation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and proper vehicle condition.
  • Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle performance.
  • Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents, or operational issues to supervisors.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, vehicle records, and transportation documentation.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding schedules, routes, and assignments.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, delays, or unforeseen circumstances during trips.
  • Ensure timely transportation services while maintaining safe driving practices.
  • Observe and comply with company health, safety, and operational procedures.
