Drillex International D.O.O. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic (H.E. Mechanic) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and drilling rigs in Serbia. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Rig Mechanic.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment and drilling rigs.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Ability to diagnose equipment faults and perform repairs efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment inspection procedures.
• Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and drilling rigs.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and related components.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, valves, and other hydraulic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical components as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential safety or performance issues.
• Use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete repairs.
• Maintain service records and report equipment conditions, repair requirements, and maintenance activities.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and ensure tools and work areas are properly maintained.
