Floor Finisher / Vinyl Flooring Installer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time experience as a Floor Finisher or Vinyl Flooring Installer.
- Certification or formal training in floor finishing or related trade is required.
- Experience in floor preparation, sanding, coating, and finishing techniques.
- Experience with epoxy coatings, concrete coatings, or timber flooring systems is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate flooring equipment and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in construction environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install vinyl flooring and other flooring systems in residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Perform floor surface preparation including cleaning, leveling, sanding, and smoothing.
- Apply floor coatings such as epoxy, concrete finishes, timber finishes, and protective coatings.
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials according to site specifications.
- Operate flooring tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finish and compliance with standards.
- Repair and replace damaged flooring materials when required.
- Follow project plans, drawings, and installation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
