EPLAN SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with EPLAN applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) or EPLAN Key User certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience in EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN Pro Panel, preferably with knowledge of EPLAN eBuild and EPLAN Preplanning.
  • Proven experience configuring, administering, and maintaining EPLAN applications for multiple users.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN structures, macro libraries, design standards, and master data management.
  • Experience managing parts databases, project structures, and reporting within EPLAN.
  • Familiarity with EPLAN integration with ERP systems, data platforms, and cable databases.
  • Experience in macro development, automation, scripting, and process optimization is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, data management, and configuration-driven design.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the maritime industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop complex technical structures and configuration rules.
  • Ability to provide technical support, training, and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Independent, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality improvement and standardization.
  • Willing to relocate to the Netherlands for a minimum of two years.
  • Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer, and maintain EPLAN applications for multiple users.
  • Support engineering teams in using EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN Pro Panel, and other relevant EPLAN tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and standardize EPLAN project structures, templates, macro libraries, and design standards.
  • Manage EPLAN master data, parts databases, component information, and related engineering documentation.
  • Maintain project structures, reporting configurations, and data consistency within EPLAN.
  • Support integration between EPLAN applications and ERP systems, data platforms, and cable databases.
  • Develop and maintain macros, automation solutions, and configuration rules to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize electrical design processes and reduce repetitive manual tasks.
  • Ensure engineering data and configurations comply with established standards and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to engineering users.
  • Train and guide engineering teams on EPLAN applications, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, IT specialists, and other departments to improve system performance and data management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and quality assurance across engineering processes.

Salary Package:

  • Salary starts at € 4,875 gross monthly.
  • Forty-two (40) working hours / Five (5) days a week.
  • Accommodation will be provided.
  • Contract duration is for 2 years.
