Job Location: Albania

EVIS VELA is seeking a qualified and reliable Electrician to perform electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, inspection, and basic troubleshooting work in Albania. The successful candidate will work with electrical systems and components, interpret electrical diagrams, identify common electrical faults, and ensure that all work is completed safely and according to required standards.

Electrician

Qualifications:

  • At least High School Graduate or a Vocational Graduate in Electrical Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as an electrician.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical systems, wiring, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with common electrical tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on electrical work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Responsible, reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
  • Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Perform electrical wiring and connections according to electrical diagrams and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret basic electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Install electrical cables, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and related components.
  • Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting to identify electrical faults and malfunctions.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components for damage, loose connections, wear, or other potential problems.
  • Replace defective electrical components and repair wiring when required.
  • Use electrical hand tools, testing instruments, and other equipment safely and correctly.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure electrical installations and repairs are properly secured, connected, and functioning correctly.
  • Follow appropriate electrical safety procedures when working with energized or potentially energized equipment.
  • Report electrical defects, safety hazards, equipment failures, and materials requirements to the supervisor.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Coordinate with other electricians, technicians, construction workers, and supervisors during electrical projects.
  • Follow workplace safety regulations, company procedures, and instructions at all times.
  • Assist with other electrical installation and maintenance tasks as assigned.
