Perdaman Global Services is seeking an experienced and skilled Dry Wall Plasterer to perform plastering, finishing, and surface preparation work in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall and plaster surfaces, applying plaster, cement, render, acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials, and ensuring smooth, uniform, and high-quality finishes according to project requirements.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Dry Wall Plasterer, Plasterer, or in a closely related construction role.
- At least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Strong practical skills in drywall plastering, joint finishing, plaster application, rendering, and surface preparation.
- Experienced in covering drywall joints, nail holes, screw holes, and surface imperfections.
- Skilled in mixing and applying plaster, cement, and render using trowels and other appropriate tools.
- Ability to achieve smooth, level, and uniform plaster finishes.
- Experience creating decorative textures and finishing coats.
- Knowledge and experience in applying acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials.
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing plastering work for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely at construction sites and follow Australian workplace safety requirements.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with Car Restriction.
- Must have a valid NBI clearance.
- Must provide relevant trade certificates.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drywall, plasterboard, and other surfaces for plastering and finishing.
- Cover joints, seams, nail holes, screw holes, and other surface imperfections using wet plaster and sealing compounds.
- Apply joint compounds and finishing materials evenly to drywall joints and fasteners.
- Smooth plaster and sealing compounds using wet brushes, trowels, scrapers, and sandpaper.
- Mix and apply coats of plaster, cement, and render to walls, ceilings, and other structures.
- Use trowels and appropriate hand tools to apply plaster and finishing materials.
- Level and smooth plaster coats to achieve a consistent and uniform thickness.
- Check surfaces for uneven areas, cracks, holes, and other defects and carry out necessary repairs.
- Sand and finish plastered surfaces to achieve a smooth and suitable surface for painting or final decoration.
- Create decorative textures and finishes according to project specifications.
- Apply finishing coats accurately while maintaining proper thickness and surface consistency.
- Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
- Prepare and handle plaster, cement, render, joint compounds, and other construction materials safely.
- Measure and mix materials according to required proportions and application requirements.
- Read and follow construction plans, specifications, measurements, and finishing requirements.
- Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures, floors, and finished areas during plastering work.
- Inspect completed plastering and drywall work to ensure quality, smoothness, alignment, and proper finishing.
- Repair defective or damaged plaster surfaces and perform touch-up work as required.
- Maintain plastering tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including proper handling of construction materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with other construction trades to ensure plastering and finishing work is completed efficiently and according to project schedules.
