DRIVER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Knowledgeable in traffic rules and road safety regulations.
• Proven ability to drive safely and responsibly in different traffic and road conditions.
• Good knowledge of local routes and ability to use navigation tools or maps.
• Responsible, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.
• Good driving judgment and defensive-driving awareness.
• Ability to maintain the cleanliness and good condition of an assigned vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and routine maintenance is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with luggage, shopping items, or other belongings when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respectful and professional when dealing with the employer, family members, visitors, and other individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the employer and family members to work, appointments, schools, shopping areas, social activities, and other destinations as required.
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely and responsibly at all times.
• Follow all applicable traffic rules, road safety regulations, and driving laws in Qatar.
• Plan routes and select appropriate roads to ensure safe and timely arrival at destinations.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct routine checks of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other basic safety components.
• Report vehicle defects, unusual noises, warning indicators, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Coordinate scheduled vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair when required.
• Keep the vehicle’s interior and exterior clean, neat, and presentable.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled and ready for daily use.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading personal belongings, shopping items, luggage, or other necessary items when required.
• Exercise discretion and respect the privacy of the employer and family members.
• Maintain punctuality and ensure passengers arrive at their destinations on time.
• Drive carefully and defensively, particularly when transporting family members or children.
• Observe appropriate parking and vehicle-security procedures.
• Maintain awareness of road conditions, weather, traffic congestion, and potential driving hazards.
• Keep required vehicle documents and maintenance records properly organized when assigned.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic incidents, vehicle damage, or other emergencies to the employer.
• Perform other driving, vehicle-care, and transportation-related duties assigned by the employer.
