Job Location: Serbia

Drillex International D.O.O. is seeking a skilled and experienced Diamond Driller to operate diamond core drilling equipment for drilling operations in Serbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating surface and/or underground diamond core drilling rigs, maintaining safe and efficient drilling operations, and ensuring proper core recovery and sample handling.

DRILLER DIAMOND

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational/technical graduate.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Diamond Driller.
  • Experience operating surface and/or underground diamond core drilling rigs.
  • Knowledge of core drilling techniques, core recovery, and drilling controls.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to common downhole problems.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Practical understanding of drilling equipment operation, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a drilling team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate surface and/or underground diamond core drilling rigs according to project requirements and established procedures.
  • Perform diamond core drilling operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Monitor drilling progress, equipment performance, drilling parameters, and core recovery.
  • Handle, retrieve, organize, and protect core samples for inspection and evaluation.
  • Identify and respond to downhole problems, drilling difficulties, and changes in ground conditions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of drilling rigs, tools, and related equipment before and during operations.
  • Identify basic hydraulic and mechanical issues and report equipment defects requiring repair.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and ensure drilling equipment is kept in good working condition.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, operating instructions, and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and drilling crew members to support efficient project operations.
