DRESSMAKER

Qualifications:

• Female applicants preferred.
• Age requirement: 35–45 years old.
• Minimum educational requirement: High School Graduate; vocational training in Dressmaking/Tailoring is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a Dressmaker, Tailor, or similar role.
• Proven experience in creating luxury evening wear, formal dresses, and wedding gowns is required.
• Expert knowledge of cut-and-sew techniques, garment construction, and finishing methods.
• Strong skills in pattern interpretation, fitting, alterations, and detailed sewing work.
• Excellent attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet quality and production deadlines.
• Professional attitude with a passion for high-quality fashion design and garment creation.

Responsibilities:

• Create and alter luxury evening gowns, wedding dresses, and formal wear according to client designs and specifications.
• Perform expert cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing of garments with high attention to detail.
• Interpret design sketches, patterns, measurements, and garment specifications accurately.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and appearance.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, embellishments, and construction techniques for each garment.
• Apply advanced tailoring techniques to achieve premium-quality finishes.
• Perform hand sewing, detailed embellishments, and finishing work as required.
• Inspect completed garments to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain sewing machines, tools, and work areas in proper condition.
• Work closely with designers and clients to achieve the required style and garment standards.
