We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Drainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems for residential, commercial, or civil construction projects. You will work with pipelines, stormwater systems, trenching, and excavation to ensure proper water flow and effective drainage solutions.

DRAINER

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in drainage installation, strong knowledge of groundworks and site preparation, and the ability to read and interpret plans. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards are essential for success in this role.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a Drainer in the Civil Construction industry
• Experience with lay sewer, drainage, and water reticulation Sets up manhole/gully, laser, bone trenches & concrete encasements, house connections
• Familiarity with correct techniques for hooking up pipes and use of chains; use of swift lifters and correct method for installing metal bedding
• Must have or at least obtained Pipelaying accreditation (for PVC, Pipelaying, Telstra, Alinta Gas)
• Must be either IELTS exempt or an IELTS passer
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive a four-wheeled vehicle
