Alshaya International Trading Company W.L.L. is seeking hardworking and reliable Dishwashers to support kitchen and food service operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining clean and organized kitchen and restroom areas, handling waste properly, and following strict food hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of kitchen or food preparation experience.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Experience working as a dishwasher, kitchen helper, steward, or in a similar food service environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of proper dishwashing, cleaning, sanitizing, and kitchen hygiene procedures.
- Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with the proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and proper food-handling techniques.
- Ability to maintain clean and organized kitchen, dish room, storage, and restroom areas.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and food service environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned workload in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
- Set up, operate, and shut down dish room equipment according to established procedures.
- Scrape leftover food and debris from dishes before washing.
- Sort dishes, plates, utensils, and other items according to size and type.
- Load and operate commercial dishwashers safely and correctly.
- Ensure dishes and kitchenware are thoroughly cleaned and properly sanitized.
- Clean pots, pans, large utensils, and other cookware by hand using a three-compartment sink.
- Replenish clean dishes on the cooking line and in designated storage areas, refrigerators, and preparation areas.
- Replenish clean pans, utensils, tools, and storage equipment used by kitchen staff.
- Maintain bus tubs throughout the shift by retrieving, emptying, cleaning, and returning them to the appropriate areas.
- Keep dishwashing areas clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
- Properly use and maintain dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies.
- Store all chemicals safely away from food and use them according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain continuous housekeeping of kitchen, dish room, and restroom areas.
- Sweep and mop floors while following all applicable health and safety procedures.
- Clean shelves, kitchen fixtures, walls, vents, and assigned kitchen equipment.
- Clean and maintain other food preparation and service areas as required.
- Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, liners, and other necessary articles.
- Collect and remove rubbish, food waste, and other waste materials according to company procedures.
- Transport rubbish, waste, and soiled linens to the designated back dock or disposal area.
- Follow proper waste segregation and disposal procedures.
- Perform shift-change, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company sanitation procedures and proper food-handling practices.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance while wearing company-approved attire.
- Treat every guest warmly, courteously, politely, and respectfully in accordance with brand standards.
- Communicate professionally with guests and kitchen team members when interaction is required.
- Keep up to date with current cleaning, sanitation, food-handling, and safety practices.
- Follow company policies, food hygiene regulations, health and safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Perform other kitchen cleaning, sanitation, and support duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
