DENTAL ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Background in dental hygiene or a related healthcare course is an advantage.
  • Computer literate, with good communication skills.
  • Pleasant personality and professional attitude.
  • Female applicants are preferred.
  • Must be responsible, organized, attentive to detail, and capable of working effectively with a dental healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during dental examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Prepare dental instruments, equipment, and materials before patient appointments.
  • Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and maintain a clean, hygienic treatment area.
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide assistance throughout their appointments.
  • Support proper patient records management and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient visits, as assigned.
  • Monitor dental supplies and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide patients with basic instructions regarding dental procedures and post-treatment care, as directed by the dentist.
  • Follow infection control procedures, workplace safety guidelines, and clinic protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, dentists, and other healthcare staff.
