CP Drilling Rig Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Drilling Rig Operator or similar role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, geotechnical drilling, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Ability to operate and monitor drilling rig systems safely and accurately.
• Knowledge of drilling safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and site protocols.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), project records, or employment certificates.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CP drilling rig equipment safely and efficiently for drilling, boring, and related site operations.
• Set up, position, and stabilize drilling rigs according to project requirements and ground conditions.
• Perform drilling operations in accordance with technical specifications, engineering plans, and safety standards.
• Monitor drilling parameters such as depth, pressure, and alignment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine checks on drilling equipment and components.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors or maintenance teams.
• Assist in assembly, disassembly, and relocation of drilling rigs and associated equipment.
• Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures at the worksite.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and ground crew to ensure safe and effective drilling operations.
• Maintain daily operational logs, drilling records, and equipment reports as required.
