CHEF ASSISTANT
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage
- Preparation/Service Management; Others or similar fields.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to stand and work for extended periods.
- Willing to work long hours when required.
- Hardworking, reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions and work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare ingredients and basic food items according to instructions and recipes.
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Keep the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and kitchen tools.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food supplies when needed.
- Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
