Standard doo is seeking qualified and experienced Wood Component Processing Operators for an overseas work opportunity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The successful candidates will operate and set up various woodworking and CNC machines, inspect finished products, maintain equipment, and ensure production and safety standards are followed.

Wood Component Processing Officer

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Proven experience operating and setting up woodworking and CNC processing machinery.
• Hands-on experience with edgebanders, dowel insertion machines, multi-spindle drilling machines, CNC wood machines, or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of veneer processing and solid wood component processing is an advantage.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications and machine instructions.
• Good understanding of woodworking machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control.
• Ability to inspect products and identify defects or processing issues.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ex-abroad experience is preferred.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up woodworking machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
• Process wood components accurately while maintaining required dimensions and quality standards.
• Operate and monitor edgebanders, dowel insertion machines, and multi-spindle drilling machines.
• Operate CNC wood processing machines, edge trimming machines, and conveyors.
• Operate veneer processing equipment, including veneer cutting scissors, veneer splicing machines, and veneer stitching machines.
• Operate bench milling machines, panel saws, continuous presses with conveyors, and CNC dowel drilling machines.
• Operate overhead routers, multi-spindle drilling machines, UV coating lines, wood lathes, and four-sided planers.
• Operate machinery used for processing solid wood components and other wood materials.
• Conduct machine adjustments and basic setup to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished and semi-finished products for quality, dimensions, defects, and proper finishing.
• Record production output and report production or quality issues to supervisors.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of woodworking machines.
• Maintain machines, tools, and work areas in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow production schedules and meet required output targets.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment when operating machinery.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other production workers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other woodworking and production duties assigned by management.
