The Yilan County Private Chu An Nursing Home is hiring compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide quality care and support to elderly residents in a nursing home setting. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and delivering emotional and physical support in accordance with established care plans.
CAREGIVER
Qualifications:
- Female applicants only
- 27–38 years old
- Must possess a BS Nursing Training Certificate or Nursing Aide Certificate
- Must have knowledge and experience in PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) and NGT (Nasogastric Tube) care
- With prior caregiving experience in an elderly home or similar healthcare facility
- Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, standing, and bending
- Strong communication skills with patience, empathy, and compassion
- Ability to provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful interaction with elderly patients
- Must be able to follow care plans and coordinate with family members and healthcare professionals
- Holder of National Certificate II (NCII) in Caregiving
Responsibilities:
- Assist elderly residents with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide proper care for patients with PEG and NGT feeding tubes as directed
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
- Follow individualized care plans accurately and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in patient care areas
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and family members for continuous patient care
